Great stuff, very good job on the demo reel! :)
Please tell me I will be able to choose the colors of my cities lights :D

@Johnm81: Balancing is an ever ongoing struggle, and stats are likely to be tweaked a lot, when the new client is available and tons of people are playing we'll see what happens I guess xD

At the moment, all stats are the same as what they were when we started going from the Vision to the Unity engine, with two exceptions. Since 1 Unity range unit is equal to 100 Vision range units, engines ended up 100 times as fast, and weapon ranges 100 times too long. So those got changed to what they should be, and are currently being tweaked more as we go as we used to. Other than that tho, its the same at the moment. Until we start the balancing again when we go live with the new alpha client with you guys :D.

This took time. Although it looks like it was for the better of the game. Looking forward to seeing further ahead what becomes done.

(P.S: Those asteroids were utterly massive, i hope they get scaled down to more sensible sizes)

I must say the game looks fantastic. i think i'll park all my fleets at that lava planet with the purple horizon just for the view.

Also a moment for Silence for the Maybeard Alliance, they will be missed .

In the part of the video where you see the messenge system, it shows a placeholder messenge that seems to contain 7 lots for items (one of which is occupied by common res). Will you be able to send people items via mail?
Because up until now every item in the game existed somewhere in some warehouse, and if you wanted it somewhere else you would have to bring it there with your cargo ships.

You already can, sort of. Go to your account page select "my profile" - "items & redeeming" then the button [+]purchase addons
