Development.

Currently we are busy with multiple bug fixes across the board. Trading and research is taking slightly longer than expected. The biggest problem we are currently facing is the fact that trading is not syncing correctly with the server. The Client seems to remove items from the market whereas the server does not which is causing desyncs.

We have added some general logging in-game. This will alert players in chat if they are doing anything wrong.

We have added multiple new sounds to the game, including the sound effects for missiles.

Unit damage is coming along nicely. As of now the final finishing touches are being completed.

Here are a few images to show what we have do so far. Please be aware that all these images show works in progress and are subject to change.

Progress on the Shop UI and skin preview UI is going well and will be completed soon. We are just finishing up the actual previews, before we can bring it all together and integrate it into the game.

Much of our time is still being spent on creating multiple storylines and quests. Much of our team is still learning new software which we will help us develop quests and storylines more quickly than we currently can.

Community.

We wish to apologize for the lack of livestreams over the last few weeks. As many of you know we have been canceling our livestreams due to lack of manpower and time.

With this in mind, we have decided to place all future livestreams on hold for now. We currently have more important matters to deal with and unfortunately we can not take time away from development.

We will be livestreaming again soon. We can not however give a definite date on which the next livestream will take place.

We thank everyone for the understanding and patience.

Even though the livestreams are taking a break, please continue to contact us on both our Facebook page and the Novus AEterno Forum, if you have any questions and/or comments regarding the development of Novus AEterno.

I'm with Tyrius here. Not really too concerned with streams and such. These blog posts are more than enough. Keep up the hard work! You guys are doing great

Agreed, livestreams are nice but not if they cause development to get behind.

However, no matter what, I think you need to keep the Dev blogs rolling. They're always fun to read.

Good things come to those who wait, I tell people on the Star Citizen forums to set it aside for a few months.

No real problem with the lack of devstreams, but am somewhat curious as to what the revised timeline is for the overall development.

I was expecting a more fully playable version of the game by now based on the estimates of April-May, I figured that by October we'd be in better shape than we appear to be at present.

As far as I can tell nothing much has changed in the feel of the game since the time I first downloaded the infiltrator version about 6 months ago.

I think December. Most of what we are doing right now is back-end stuff for scalability and rapid content creation.

There has been a few content updates as well, the interior of the capital ship and shields.
I personally think things are coming along well. I just really think that there needs be a NPC factions before they release the game to the public.
A fleshed out market as well.

The market certainly needs to be functioning. NPC factions will make the game much more interesting, so I'd have to agree there as well.
