don't know about buying the earth for a buck .98 but, it was really from and old game show from the 50s
hmm just looked it up and it was called "I'll buy that" but it doesn't say any thing about the $1.98. again it was before my time and that's how it was repeatedly said to me when I was growing up. it didn't last long. even in those days prices must of been going up pretty fast.

How many years left now? Since we are moving quickly towards year 3 which we will hit this year's december. I spent 375$ on the game. Atleast updates now and then would have been appreciated, where i can atleast see if my pledge was actually worth it.

Well they are currently TRYING to schedule a small internal testing day, what they will be testing… no idea but apparently the client side patcher thing will finally be making its return. Yay, until now the 3 or 4 of us outside of the development team have had to download through links. As for the actual game I can't speak of that, I only know of the… I'm gonna start calling it the demo cause it feels like what demos use to be 10 years ago, a play ground sized version of the final product. I'm also probably the worst person to be commenting as my laptop may actually be the new official lowest possible specs to run it. So that's a good sign that so long as your computer ISNT older then 7 years you are probably good to go. This is probably not enough info but I'm not sure if what I know is real or not. Plus what I have tested was like I said closer to a demo and was solely for testing specific things

Well we fixed a massive bug in the movement code which was teleporting units to 0,0 randomly.
That made combat pretty much unplayable; the problem was compounded because you wouldn't see that they teleported until after you relogged.
Right now we're adding on the final polish of the protocol system and then we'll probably begin working on integrating the new hull, component and research systems.
