Novus AEterno Livestream.

What we are currently working on.

Client Team

The beam weapon and visual bugs have been fixed. New sun and explosion effects are completed; we have not added them to the infiltrator server yet.

We have added a new weapon type to Novus AEterno.

Missile weapons are officially in the game and we are currently finishing up Flack shields. Flack shields will prevent flack based ammunition from detonating in close proximity to the ship. This will not prevent all damage from flack weapons, but will mitigate much of the damage.

Flack shields are currently not within the game, but will be soon. This image was taken within the dev tool and is a Work in Progress.

We have also started working on the NPC quest system. Right now, I can’t say too much regarding the quest system. But development is currently in full swing and we will keep you all informed about the progress we are making.

Server Team

The server team is currently working on making a few things simpler on our side. We are doing a lot of work on the server, due to this the infiltrator server will be down frequently. We are in the process of creating various too which will help us facilitate many of the systems we are currently working on.

One of the newest server tools currently being worked on is the Quest chain tool. In Novus AEterno there is no such thing as a single quest, but rather a long line of quest chains. Each quest node within Novus AEterno will be linked to various other quest nodes. Each node can prompt the activation of a decision, event, quest completion, etc. Once a node has been activated and completed, it will lead into one of the connected nodes to continue the quest chain.
